Vancouver is close to setting a new October rainfall record;they already have had more rain than monthly average,Tuesday another 50 mm...more wind to hit the coast.
Looks like we're going to pay in spades for our endless summer.
Was out at Vanier Boat Ramp yesterday and could see a sailboat hull washed up on the other side at English Bay. Looks like it must have broke anchor in last storm. Got to talking to a guy coming back from some scuba diving and he told me he saw five wrecks. His speculation is they were unwanted boats waiting for a storm.
Was in Winter Harbour today around 2, had to do some work near Kains, blowing like $hit there. Bunch of big draggers all anchored up. You know its nasty when those boys are hiding.
Wind southeast 45 to 55 knots except southeast 65 near the headlands. Wind becoming southeast 40 to 50 late this evening then diminishing to southeast 30 to 40 after midnight. Wind diminishing to southwest 20 to 30 early Tuesday morning and to southwest 15 early Tuesday evening.
