Selling at a loss to get the ball rolling again in something else is the single greatest step I've made in my short trading career lol. Especially with these meme stocks and super hyped garbage. Get in, get out, onto the next one.Yeah, I made the same mistake. Swing traded it once and made $1k tried a second time and got stung. Chased it down and got my averages down so with the latest run I should be able to get out hopefully this week. Who knows though I tend to be greedy and reluctant to sell anything unless I can make a couple of % at a minimum. I'm not sure why I ever got wrapped up in that short squeeze mania.
Yes, I've definitely done that as well. Sometimes you have to cut your losses and move on. My small position in AMC is sitting in an RRSP and isn't that important to me right now. I'll let it ride and get my cash back plus small profit. At least with AMC they sell a product that a lot of consumers want to partake in if we ever get past COVID. If the company can avoid bankruptcy they may be a viable business. GME however IMHO is straight up garbage.Selling at a loss to get the ball rolling again in something else is the single greatest step I've made in my short trading career lol. I was out Monday. Thank God.Whos' bag holding cbdt, daggers are falling, and to me, I don't see a big opportunity here. They need to grow organically and show some numbers, this is shaking the fomo out.

I sure hope your wrong. I'm holding a pretty decent position there. I believe in the direction the company is headed and should be rewarded well at Q4/Q1 earnings. I think all we are seeing right now is market manipulation.Whos' bag holding cbdt, daggers are falling, and to me, I don't see a big opportunity here. I was a big believer too but I had it since .32I sure hope your wrong. I'm holding a pretty decent position there. I believe in the direction the company is headed and should be rewarded well at Q4/Q1 earnings. I think all we are seeing right now is market manipulation.

I agree what happened recently was FOMO and I should have taken some profit. I got in early at .23 and slowly added to my position. I'm holding 450,000 shares with an average of about .27 so even though I feel like puking today I'm still way up from 2 weeks ago. I just have to keep things in perspective. Nothing has changed and I believe that the fundamentals support a $2-$3 share price possibly more if they make or exceed earnings. With the DTC filing opening up the potential for bigger fish we should see some positive movement next week.I was a big believer too but I had it since .32
I sold around a dollar then got fomo and bought right back in. Sold again on Monday end of day because it was just out of hand. There had to be leveling off. Might buy back in when things settle down and we see some earnings.

Folks are pitching that idea. I'm not sure what the real time short position is but I didnt think it was heavily shorted. I think it's a combination of people taking profit, the whole market is red today, and a lot of retail investors back on the GME trainAKA you're long AF, so enjoy the ride. If your ACB across your position is .27, you're still 5 bagger or so. It will be volatile but should start to consolidate and level off as cooler heads prevail.
I haven't looked yet, was it shorts that kicked the crap out of CBDT?
