I'm not sure you can blame this on Reddit. All they are doing is holding stock. Its the Hedgies that keep shorting thats the issue here. They are the real manipulators.

Cause and effect, what was gme shorted today 1.3m? The kids are taking notice and if they didn't cause this particular incident they certainly can take credit for kicking this off last month.

I have accounts with a few full service brokers.
I don’t mind paying the fees for:
- access to new issues...you will never get a fill in decent deal with a discount broker (even the big bank platforms).
- ideas / intel....sometimes I transact with them, but usually I just trade it in my or my wife’s discount account. Or I will buy a partial position with them and the balance in the discount account.
Doing this averages down my cost of their “service”.

Mine is a 1% fee to ds based on average value for the year. At least its tax deductible as a management fee but no cost averaging down.

Its an account thats managed through an employment benefit so I rarely look at the statement. Guy left the firm and I finally read a statement and I was like wtf this ends today. Clown show and I'm the clown haha

thats why i got out of GME awhile back i thought there were tonnes of people that bought in late and would want to sell to get out. Creating a lot of selling pressure boy was i wrong.

Anyone holding iom? I have been since the initial financing. It ran up to 4 bucks from .50 fast, it was on its way. Then the goofs got caught playing around with expenses and bam hallted for months, returned at 2 bucks them down below a buck. Too bad as its a solid business providing neuromoniting surgical services. The adults are in charge now and it on its way, good acquisition news this am and the had their S1 accepted by the sec so they're headed for uplifting. Can only be nsadaq which means a usd sp of 4 bucks. Ideally this isn't achieved via a rollback but I'm fine either way. Bigger boats ain't cheap.

Yeah, I made the same mistake. Swing traded it once and made $1k tried a second time and got stung. Chased it down and got my averages down so with the latest run I should be able to get out hopefully this week. Who knows though I tend to be greedy and reluctant to sell anything unless I can make a couple of % at a minimum. I'm not sure why I ever got wrapped up in that short squeeze mania.
