Hardy Reports

If there's an afternoon ebb going on it can get pretty sporty out there when the NW wind comes up two-ish in the afternoon. I try and find a hidey-hole after the morning fish---sometimes it lays down real nice for an evening bite and it's worth the wait.

Or find the lee side of some of the islands chains out there ---Castle can be fished when it blows in the afternoon.

I can tell you that Jeanette is not a place you want to be when there's a big ebb tide in the afternoon...

I believe you are headed up to Rivers correct? If you are following the mainland I would hit the Jeanette Light. Lots of fish there, not out of your way if you are heading up that side.

I am heading that way Sunday afternoon for four days, hoping the fish gods will be watching over me.

Safe travels

Just came out of rivers inlet 10 days straight... just started to rain when I came out on sat.... :)
