Fishing License in Canada and the US

I have a 20ft Bayliner and plan to go fishing in US waters since my boat is stored at Crescent Beach. My question is, do I only have a canadian fishing license, can I catch and keep fish in the United States? Do I need a US fishing license to be able to fish in US waters? The problem is that my boat is located right at the border!
