I'm confused. If the total TAC for Canada drops by 21% then that means the commercial sector also gets reduced by 21%. How do you figure they get more and we get less? Don't we all get less?
I for one am for conservation. Fishing for "sport" is just that a sport. It's not about trying to catch enough fish to offset an expensive charter, or filling a bunch of coolers to be sent back east with a handfull of letters, it's about the experience of being on the water and hopefully catching something for the dinner table. This meat fishery that is going on needs to change.
If we don't make some changes then there will be nothing left for the generations behind us.
