Dent Island and Sonora Reports

Heading up to this area for a couple of days of fishing later this week and wonder if there are any reports - good or bad. Weather looks way better mid week and I'm hopeing the fishing is decent.

Denham bay on the flood, Hall pt. on the ebb. Last week there was nothing under 20 lb.s Glow with a bit of yellow and a green stripe cuttle was the go to. 130-160. Shoerten up the leader and troll slowish.

Sounds like the quality is great but how about the quantity?

Any coho showing up in the area yet?

Would like to hear more. Dent reports seem to be quite rare on the site.

fished Hall Pt. friday afternoon/evening for about 3hrs,

hit and landed 1 spring in the first 10mins on anchovie 120ft, 14-16lbs,a little color to it

fished Hall Pt. again on Saturday AM in the fog, nothing on anchovies, hit 3 on purple haze hootchie @ 70ft, lost all 3, one was a hog!

alot of Oak Bay guys there Friday..a couple on Sat...I dont think much action for them though...

and no coho....
