considering new 9.9 kicker

I've run a Yam T 8 since 08. No issues at all with it. I run it 8 hours a day and it performs exceptionally. I never have an issue with running Radar, Sounder, VHF, stereo and all the other power source users on the boat. It seems to maintain the battery charge fine. If it has not been run for a few days, it takes a few cranks and requires you to pump the fuel liberally. i am confident with the motor.

I have run a 2006 Honda 8 horse with charger since new and haven't had a problem. Keeps the batteries charged and handles my Trophy better than the 9.9 Merc that was on it.
