My buddy has a 6 volt system on his sail boat. 2 x batteries……ones lithium ones regular. I think the house is lithium. To jump a 6 volt system we’re told you put the jumper on the negative side of one battery then the positive on the other battery. Now I’ve read various views on using a jumper on lithium. Some say it’s dangerous. Not sure what that means. Will it burn out the battery or will it blow up? Would appreciate if anyone has first hand experience. Is it safe to use a NOCO 40 to jump this system?
