Buying Used Truck from US

I’m wondering if anyone is familiar with the process to bring back a used truck. Can you buy car insurance up here like temp moving insurance that will work? Do you take the title from the owner then pay tax at the border?

Yes thanks for that. I was actually hoping to hear from someone who’s actually done it. I’m looking at a 70 ford pickup

I’ve done it twice, once got a trip permit in WA, in downtown Seattle and a “binder?”from icbc other time shipped it to Port Angeles and drove across the street to the coho. Find a good auto insurance broker here in BC who will help you. I helped a client ship his car Blaine as well.
