This was a 24' inboard/outboard (Volvo Penta) that was modified by the original builder for the owner. Converted to outboard, extended, watertight door, paint etc 8 years ago, it was suggested owner spent what he is asking for it at that time. 30 K for the Yamaha 300, 40 K for the extension, mods and painting. Built and designed locally. 1/4" bottom, 5/32 or 3/16 sides. 8'6 beam. Has commercial designation as it was used for taking carpenters to island projects. I was talking to the builder/shop owner. He suggests it is a steal at this price.

Those are made by a guy named Pavel. He builds a good boat but I think he has built a lot more river boats and specializes in tunnel hull jets. I've talked with him before and he was definitely a bit hard to get a good answer out of, partly language barrier, partly just personality I think. I ran into a guy at the Rocky Point launch in Port Moody with an ocean designed hull and he couldn't have been happier with it. That one seems like a great price.

This seller has been trying for a long time to sell this and I think the price he is asking is for a 1/2 share in the boat with him. He wasn't always upfront in the past about what you are actually getting, unless he is now bailing out of it altogether..
