Was never a big fan of the outboards being on the outer edges of the pod/transom like this one is, with the kicker in the middle. It can lead to cavitation on hard turns at speed.

As a side note I bought my boat 4 years ago with a Honda 90 with unknown hours figured I'd have to replace it with a yam or Suzuki within a couple years and as of today knock on wood it hasn't missed a beat

I ran a Honda for 10 years with minimal cost.
the only thing they are bad for is corrosion in the prop shaft housing.

I wouldn't go out of my way to re-power with a Honda simply due to a lack of dealers and service centres. But, the right boat at the right price with one already rigged and running? heck yeah. If I remember right, the big Honda's weren't well received because everyone else was doing lighter, cheaper, faster, less complicated two stroke engines.
