Backup power is niceWhy would you put a kicker on that boat? Much simpler to just use the main. Quieter, better steering control (vs steering kicker only). If you're a guide fishing 100s or 1000s of hours a year then yeah, engine hours matter. For most other people it doesn't really matter
Yeah especially with a 22 year old engine.Backup power is nice
Why do people post boats for sale without taking a half hour to tidy the boat up and take new pictures? Two old pictures with the old motor, and one pants-down captain pic? Interesting choice.Who was looking for an affordable whaler? https://www.facebook.com/share/1HjceDUKNm/?mibextid=wwXIfr 25k for a 1991 outrage with new power
Uh, have you ever been to Nelson? Why do people post boats for sale without taking a half hour to tidy the boat up and take new pictures? Two old pictures with the old motor, and one pants-down captain pic? Interesting choice.![]()
I am. That one is one of the hulls I’m looking for (along with the “classic” Outrage 18) but I’m not a fan of the mods that have been done. It’s been listed for a while now but I’m not really interested. Yes, I could try to find a stock console and put it back in the original spot and I could remove the front seats but I’d rather wait for one that hasn’t been overly molested.Who was looking for an affordable whaler? https://www.facebook.com/share/1HjceDUKNm/?mibextid=wwXIfr 25k for a 1991 outrage with new power

If the layout was original then the price would be in the right ballpark based on ~two years of looking at every North American listing for that particular hull.
Yep, but that's not a classic era (1980s) 18. That 1999 hull is nearly 2x the weight of the classic eras.Have you seen the ad for this one?
