Boats on Used Victoria and Other Areas

A friend of mine passed and his wife is wanting to sell this 19’ hewes, 140 zuki, trailer looks good. Comes with down riggers, gps, some ropes and tackle tossed in. Besides a bottom cleaning this thing looks mint. I am going to say low hours and it will be freshly serviced and a report. The fella bought this new and never got to enjoy it in retirement. Boat is in Bamfield.

Sorry for your and her loss. Pictures flipped.

What year is the 190 Sea Runner? I loved mine and my brother in law is looking but for a slightly larger one. Does it have a single or dual axle trailer? Suspension seats or the standard aluminum U spring? Are the bench seats the regular where the back is attached a folds forward or the kind that turn into a bed with knotches in the front of the benches behind where your knees would be.

Really like the boat for what the family may be into, but for a 2000 hull and 2012 ‘Rude, need opinions on price and such if possible.
Previous owners of this hull?

Seems like Covid pricing to me. I think the 2000 and up Grady white hulls are the better ones at least.

I think I’ve seen this one up for sale a few times over the years.

2019 Jasper Marine Freedom 28 | 28ft

Rockport, Ontario
$329,000 (US$239,459)
This is a gorgeous boat, but it just can't seem to find a long-term owner. It was for sale in Vancouver for a few years - I saw it in person down at Inlet Marine about 2-3 years ago. Looks amazing, but maybe tough to find a use case other than going fast in variable conditions. Not big enough to bring many friends, not enough deck for serious fishing, tiny v-birth with no kitchenette so hard to do overnights. Anyway, a very nice boat and I'd take this anyday over a similar Axopar (probably similar crossover appeal)

I think this was Jasper's dream boat - but as far as I know he only built the one prototype.

Yeah and a 2018 axopar is a hell of a lot cheaper. They do market their boats well. The 22 has been everywhere, not sure how many of them they have sold. The roof top tent idea is kind of fun on their 22, until you are someone who has slept in one on a truck/car and then try to transfer that too a boat. My buddy has two of their 21 landing crafts https://jaspermarine.ca/lc21/

I was looking closer at the listing - the saddest part is that these look like the original engines and list only 10 hours of operation in 6 years.

Like a Ferrari that dreams of the track, but never leaves the garage...

Older Grady but a nice model with original 2 strokes. Definitely needs a re power
