Well wouldn't you consider that more like a bracket? The the stepped ones I was looking at only stepped an inch or two at max. This one is sort of the cheap and cheerfull, no customization whatsoever method. In my talks with one builder, the slight step actually allowed for a couple things. One being the maintining of your drain hole (if you have one) and the other thing being some kind of reduction in turbulent water hitting the props. It all sounded great to me. But they were definitely still more of a floatation pod and not a bracket.Step and rake bracket lol
No I am talking about bracket stile like that one,lot of them around, mine does not even touch the water on plane, sits about a foot up from the bottom, about 4” in the water at rest. Look at pics online, Grady, seasport, and lots of others use that stile of brackets, just in Renfrew there must be 30 with brackets like that style, there is few few that plane with the hull but not many, I am no expert, but like to look at what’s out thereWell wouldn't you consider that more like a bracket? Exactly ,tons of them around that work just fine, just depends on hull design/shape.My 19 Seasport is unusual in that it has a deep v bottom but very short planing surface because of it's overall length making it prone to porpoising with the bracket. The pod being built now is radically different to give it more flotation as well as a much longer and wide planing surface,I'll post pictures when all done.No I am talking about bracket stile like that one,lot of them around, mine does not even touch the water on plane, sits about a foot up from the bottom, about 4” in the water at rest. I was all over the 22 and the 24 at a recent boat show. That 24 answers a lot of questions. My goodness is that a sweet fishing machine.A build you don't see every day https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1218835736140455/?ref=browse_tab

Mines up for sale if this is what they’re going for!Another option. https://www.facebook.com/share/16rs34thpq/ but again 2 seats undercover? Engines on warranty for another year as well. The trailer option is a nice 22k$ option, you could tow her to Bamfield, Nootka or the North Island a couple times a year.

Not for me, any more weight and I’d need a dually to tow a boat behind my truck and camper.Mines up for sale if this is what they’re going for!![]()
Yeah, how is their build up close? My buddy has decided it’s on his shortlist.I was all over the 22 and the 24 at a recent boat show. That 24 answers a lot of questions. My goodness is that a sweet fishing machine.
That’s the one thing I noticed, guys using a tandem axle to pull that boat. That’s too light in my opinion. 7500 pound boat, 2000 pounds full fuel, plus gear you’re well over 10 000 pounds. Not for me, any more weight and I’d need a dually to tow a boat behind my truck and camper.
