$750,000 for an unproven offshore-made aluminum? That's crazy.

Look beyond the nice engines and it's nothing but paint, EVA foam, and carpeting inside. I doubt this will have the durability of a similar Kingfisher or anything else.

Insane, but for 7.5 big ones, I would have expected more than hull liner and painted aluminum finish in the interior finishing.

For a couple of years, I fished out of that same boat but with twin 454. With the V drive shaft propulsion, I can’t recall the owner having any problems with them at all. Annual maintenance on the motors, of course. The dance floor is more than adequate on that boat, I was impressed with the sport fishing ability outback. They are the motoryacht series from Bayliner.

Thanks. Too bad it’s 16k in USD. And a 24 hour drive. If it was listed in Canada and you could do some fancy paperwork it might work out well. As is at least the trailer sounds like it might be worth a bunch of the value if it’s the hull someone wants. My buddy is handy and interested in that hull. 250hp minimum?

Both priced in CAD. A similar one with original power on Vancouver island looks to have been sold for more, than these, just by connecting a WA buyer with the seller. The only C-Dory Tomcats for sale in North America have pending offers. Very few nice GW and Boston Whalers for sale right now. Like the VI housing market crash the boat market crash of 2025 hasn't materialized yet.

pre 2006 where made with wood and are subject to moisture damage.
otherwise i really enjoy all aspects of it.
