Even if the weight is balanced over the axles, hanging any weight that far behind is flirting with disaster. I wouldn’t take that on the highway for fear of the ‘wag’.

Boat became to heavy after a hard top was added? Those pontoons on the side are not factory, although they would make it pretty strong for side impacts/harder to sink.
Not to mention way better fuel economy - especially at trolling speeds. My 75 efi four stroke drinks half of what my 60 4 stroke carb did

You can see lots of those types of welded on additions to commercial vessels on the hard at Steveston Harbour Authority down on Trites.
I'd rock that.. maybe extend the tung on the trailer first and push it a little forward.Dance floor of the day.
