Boats on Used Victoria and Other Areas

Saw a very good deal for a pursuit with no trailer 2000+ miles away https://greensboro.craigslist.org/boa/d/high-point-2003-pursuit-2670-denali-ls/7325696852.html it would be nicer with a hardtop, but what a boat. DAJ
Interesting ad - I've been trying to follow Pursuit boats for sale in the US as well...This ad is along the same lines - Says he delivers too...haha

Lots of open water from WV to Lasqueti for sure, what are you looking at to replace it with? As much as I'm not a fan of the looks, an axxopar would do well as a commuter in the Straits.
We’ve been open minded about a replacement. Commander 26 seems to be the best fit for compromise of speed and still being able to spend weekends on Hornby or Desolation. Looked at Sea Sport 2400, Orca 24, Commander 30, Lifetimer 22, Tolly 26. Boats are a Goldilocks game for sure! We also have been looking at slower boats - Nordic Tug 26 and Camano. Sigh.

How many people in your immediate family? 26 hourston should be on your list? We are a family of 4 and wouldn’t go smaller than our current boat 25.5 C-Dory but lots of families do well with a 22 but end up with two footitis. Was anchored at Portland Island chatting with a couple that had the other weekend. I passed on the inboard ranger tugs after chatting with the owner of one. When we need to get home either from fishing or outing with the family 20kn is essential. Maybe see you at Hornby in August, friends have a cabin there and I’m thinking I’ll be on the boat with my son nights and early fishing or we’ll all be ashore and taking my buddies new Boston Whaler out. I’d put the 2885 conquest on your list, it was wicked pulling Hali through the transom door, two huge fish lockers and doing 40mph last week.

Good suggestions! I like the Hourston 26. My friend Rob has the Hourston molds, and is firing up production soon with the NMI guys in Bellingham. That’s tempting, but needs me to be patient And find a temporary solution until production ramps up. Looked hard a the Ranger’s (inboard and outboard) but don’t like the quality. I’ll sniff around the Conquest 285. It’s be great to have a beer on the beach at HornBy. Will keep in touch about that.

It's minimum 6 beer on the beach at Hornby... I'll be there in August as well :)

2 years no beer, once the anchors set it’s local edibles for me.

Tell Rob, I can find fiberglass guys from all over the world, set him up here on the island and turn them out!

If i had the cash i would already own it

I'm absolutely with you. I guess I could make it happen but you know who would go bonkers if the first one wasn't gone and the cash in the bank for this one. I'm on the Coast this weekend too, so tempted to go have a look. But just like going to have a look at a puppy, we all know that rarely happens...haha
