Thanks for sending it along Kael. More boats to look at the better. It is decent value depending on how it shows.Did you look at this one? Seems like a steal https://calibreyachts.com/brokered-boat/boat-types/power-boats/2004-grady-white-282-sailfish/
I called about this one but I just don't have much interest. He's sticky on price and I ain't paying 100k taxes in for that so I don't need to waist his time. Broker made it sound like it shows ok but not great which is kinda how it looks from afar.
I don't mind the old power, I'll repower anyhow. Everything's old on this one. No updates. It's essentially a 20 year old hull that's sat in the salt for a decade for 90k. Trailer rolls but otherwise a rebuild. Rewire, new electronics, pumps, lines, etc, etc. If it's a 282 I want one repowered and ready to go at 130k (yard trailer like this would be fine). I'd go tandem seapro 200 on cables so that's pretty affordable. I'm cheap I guess but I think there's better value down south even with our garbage exchange. If this was to be had at 70k I'd go look as that would get in around 130k.
I'm also really hunting a 2870 or 285. The tank accessibility is the only thing that really worries me with the pursuit. Fish storage seems limited for Hali but maybe an owner on here can chime in (didn't look ideal but I didn't have a measure handy). I'll pony up if the right one comes along.
The 255 conquest can be had cheap (35k-40k usd) down south. That would work too if I decide to go a bit more budget and a clean repower shows that's ready to move.
