Boats on Used Victoria and Other Areas

Thanks for sending it along Kael. More boats to look at the better. It is decent value depending on how it shows.
I called about this one but I just don't have much interest. He's sticky on price and I ain't paying 100k taxes in for that so I don't need to waist his time. Broker made it sound like it shows ok but not great which is kinda how it looks from afar.
I don't mind the old power, I'll repower anyhow. Everything's old on this one. No updates. It's essentially a 20 year old hull that's sat in the salt for a decade for 90k. Trailer rolls but otherwise a rebuild. Rewire, new electronics, pumps, lines, etc, etc. If it's a 282 I want one repowered and ready to go at 130k (yard trailer like this would be fine). I'd go tandem seapro 200 on cables so that's pretty affordable. I'm cheap I guess but I think there's better value down south even with our garbage exchange. If this was to be had at 70k I'd go look as that would get in around 130k.
I'm also really hunting a 2870 or 285. The tank accessibility is the only thing that really worries me with the pursuit. Fish storage seems limited for Hali but maybe an owner on here can chime in (didn't look ideal but I didn't have a measure handy). I'll pony up if the right one comes along.
The 255 conquest can be had cheap (35k-40k usd) down south. That would work too if I decide to go a bit more budget and a clean repower shows that's ready to move.

I agree 100% with your statement that Seapro package….and about US boats

I could see that being a little sluggish loaded up with gear and people and any rough water. Just a guess though . Like those hull styles also

Summer condo, lots of value here. Possible livaboard, even has a dishwasher washer dryer! Rebuilt Detroit diesels. Great layout. Very good price compared to what these are selling for in the US.

Seems like there is some deals to be had some boats were listed for 50k during covid I’ve seen a few now listed 30-40ll.

Just a note, if you do purchase a boat keep the paper work in a safe place for years. Received this in the mail, they are asking for taxes four years later even though I paid them. I found the transfer papers showing tax payment but the ink is so faded it probably won't be legible with a photo copy. The kicker is if you can't prove it they will set a value on your boat. Boat values have changed since 2019.
Imagine going back to a customer four years later and asking them to prove they paid you.
