These are scams. They encourage you to email them directly (opposed to using the craigslist email system) which means you lose your anonymity and they have your email address to sell/spam etc.

Usually easy to tell based on photos as well.. no license plates visible etc etc.

Agreed...the way the inboard engine is so far back on the stern and out of the dance floor really reminds me of Striper too. A good way to keep the floor area open while still having the stern drive. No reg numbers on the boat are also a dead giveaway. Have all of you flagged the ad yet?
