yes, I looked at a 25 walk around of the same era 5 years ago, powered by twin 275 black max,different layout huge dance floor but passed it was to big, 10ft beam and a repower was a bit much, but it sold for 18k and the hull was in very good shape

I was eyeing that up a little while ago but the cost of a re power wasn’t worth it for me and definitely not worth rebuilding that engine in my opinion for what it’s worth. The exact same boat was listed today with a modern 150hp mercury optimax, kicker fishing gear ect for $13k I think it’s a beautiful boat and worth a re power just not affordable for me right now lol I think it’s priced a little high with a blown main engine but the markets crazy right now I’m sure it’ll sell

totally agree - what do you think of the other one with the optimax ? I remember seeing these for $7-8k a year or two ago :(

It looks pretty decent but at the same time you never know with the transom, stringers and floors on those older hulls it’s always a risk..
 
That one with the pod has been posted for a while now. People paying silly prices for boats nowadays aren't looking for projects...they're looking for something the can use now.

I contacted him and he said if he didn't get very close to his asking he would just repower.

Does it have hydraulic steering? Was the electrical ever redone? Two batteries with a switch, I would have redone it when the pod was done. Those seats and interior look to be in really good condition and some real investment made over the years. The problem is no way to test drive that pod setup. Anyone looking for a 1995 Osprey short cabin project boat? It’s an insurance writeoff that needs full repower and full refit of wiring, electronics etc. Some sponginess in the decks too. I looked at boat and if you are handy and have access to used power it might suit you. Boat was used as a charter boat in Alaska and was used hard and put away wet. PM me if you want details. Update.....The Osprey sold this morning. From what I can tell it sold for $10,000. A good hull for the right person.
