how would this ride with a 150hp..

I had a 20’ hourston with pod and 150 etec. Was fine but not fast. Cruised at 25 kts, topped out at about 30

I think bridge view was building a custom build with quads. I don’t remember it being an eagle craft. And there’s probably not too many around haha.

Definetly in the low end of the power scale. I have a new merc 200 on mine and cruise at 30 wide open 45 ish. Mine a a inboard 170hp factory that cruised 24 ish. That 150 would be the same. Pretty rough interior

Can confirm a 4 stroke 150 is woefully inadequate boring for that size boat. You need jam and 200 4 stroke or 150 2 stroke

I know of 2 guys with soft top Stripers rinning 150 Verados and alls ok, but a Alaskan , you probable have to giver her a good run to get her up on step if its solo like me. I'm thinking of a new 150 Merc and confident it will do just fine on mine.
