What is that flange around the outdrive?

Guessing that it is a new flange for either a new motor or leg install. One or both different from original install.

That’s an affordable and economical cruiser for sure

that 4.2 cummins is not supported by cummins anymore, it is a vm based engine built in europe. and is no longer current. if you need parts it is difficult to find

Looks like a centre console that was converted. Some of the visible welds are bird **** style but that may just be where the steering platform was added on.

It certainly hasn't had a hard life ......possibly the easiest life a boat of this type has ever had. Putt out, drop some traps, wet some lines. Putt back in. This boat is probably better than new with the little touches for sure.
