Wasn’t that the one at Thunderbird Marine that was asking 75,000?I think that this is a big price reduction...wasn't this at $75,000 a month ago?

Ahh, that's the one, thanks man. Price wise, the 28' seems a better deal though. Although the year of the motors on the 28 I did not see.I looked at the tbird one and it was pretty beat up. It also showed up at lgm in the yard so perhaps it was sold? The one above is a way better deal, these are well built boats.
Also the one at tbird was the next size up, the 280, and it had twins.

I have the same engines in my boat. They run great and get very good fuel economy. No diesel smell or smoke either. I would think this would burn more like 6 or 7 gallons an hour at cruise. Judging by the sea trainer these are older models. Newer models have a glass top so that you can see the filter inside. They are not cheap to service so that kind of balances out the fuel burn. With 1300 hours you may have to rebuild the coolers if not done already. I just redid mine. You can check for white powder below the Charge air cooler gaskets to see if they are starting to leak. You would want a good Volvo mechanic to check it out and make sure they deduct any maintenance due. Very tight to work on the engine in there. Nice boats though.https://www.usedvictoria.com/classified-ad/2005-SKAGIT-ORCA-27_35686014

One of the lodges up in Rivers Inlet used them as their guide boats, smaller versions but they seem to be a well built boat.

I agree, I wonder if the owners would be interested In a smaller Commander as trade. That looks like one of the best deals out there. Full electronics, radar and set up for fishing. The dingy is missing but it is setup with davits and engine stand. Insane value if it isn't a hidden project for some reason.

Those are the older AD40 Volvo’s with 4000 hours. Think that is why the price is low. It might be a good pod prospectI agree, I wonder if the owners would be interested In a smaller Commander as trade.
