Boats on Used Victoria and Other Areas

Nice looking Bridgeview centre console with twin Mercs for $85,000
That 20' Bridgeview is absolutely phenomenal and is worth lingering on.

This is a rare/desireable boat and well made. Self bailing, 1/4" bottom, reverse chine, this one looks to be extremely well optioned - great layout. Bridgeview only makes a few of these every couple of years. I believe this is an 18EXT (which is 20' overall), and in 2020 when I was shopping for a boat I priced out a single engine 150hp with 9.9 back and it was $95K + Tax + trailer. There was a gorgeous one in Burrard Civic for the longest time (not sure if its still there). Not sure what the dual engine would have cost, but I suspect this was closer to $125k with the trailer (if the owner put in their order, pre-Covid price bump - I think the pricing went nutty after that, if they even made any more)

The only thing I would question on this particular boat is the choice for twin engines. I love the idea of a twin, but hard to know if that actually works very well on an 18ft model (I typically saw this on the larger 22' model). These were normally fitted with anything from a singel 90hp on lodge boats, up to a 150hp. They are rated for 200hp, but I think a twin engine would make this really butt heavy.

Anyway, 85k seems totally fair (if the engines check out) and pretty much wipes out a lot of the COVID premium. I hope Bridgeview makes a few more of these - the only ones that seem to come up are the beat up old lodge/work boats from the early 2000s.

They built some with twin 75's on them, for the lodges but mostly a manager or delivery boat, some for consumers. (I saw one in WA for sale a few years ago)

The single engine version is still at Burrard Civic, but he subs out the slip in summer. I still drool on it.

The Seapro 90hp weighs 363lbs x 2 = 726lbs. A 150hp weight 455lbs +120lbs for a 9.9 prokicker = 575lbs.

An extra 150lbs in the back is a lot of weight. Move those dual batteries to the centre console.

The T top console on the EXT is noticeably forward of where the standard centre console sits on the original lodge boat design. That would move some weight forward. The EXT version appears to be full flotation/actual hull extension.

Anyone looked at this silver streak at Sherwood? 17 soft top and no kicker maybe not the most desirable but still a quality local hull and cheapest silver streak I’ve seen in awhile. What gives?

Just looking at those pics...check the hull below waterline. I can't tell from the pics if the hull had some significant barnacle growth that was scraped off or if the hull has corrosion pitting.

Yup good call should’ve mentioned that also noticed what looks looks like significant barnacle growth, was curious if anyone had seen in person
