No kidding! Thanks for the info, I was fooled by the description saying west coast welded and Canadian builder tag. I was hoping it was a local built offering a fair price.

Hyper Marine was at the Victoria Boat show, better pricing on their Chinese built boats than the one on Comox craigslist and owner is a tradesperson who put some real thought and care into it. Wish I had a chance to check them out but my 2 year old was busy dropping the prawn trap and fishing off all the easy to climb aluminums and inflatables.
Looked at this de. Was a lodge boat for many years and hasn't been used much recently. Needs a transom and some other things imho. Trailers worth something. The Suzuk is probably worth half the asking price if it checks out.... might be worthwhile at 10k for the right person.

If you think it may be a scam make sure you visit the boat in person and check the TC vessel registration number to make sure it matches the person you are going to be buying from after you check the persons ID. Lot's of boat scams going on as well as cars and motorcycles on CL and FB.
When I check the TC reg # that one shown on this listing doesn't come up in the registry.
