I'm in Nuavo but my buddy is just wrapping up in LA Penita and Dorrado have been plentiful when the sea has been calm enough to launch. Another bud that is below us had a 211 pound Marlin 3 days ago.

I have an 1802 trophy with a 2023 115 merc command thrust 14.5x17 s.s Enertia and hits 37mph wide open in perfect conditions with a light load the boat is just over 1900lbs dry that model is is a 2002 W/A 20’ a 115 would be under powered my boat isn’t quick out of the hole even with trim tabs I’ve been on lots of 20’ trophy’s and found even with a 150 it was a little underwhelming with 3 guys but the price is right on that one.

I use a 19 for water skiing and pull 250 lbs guys up no problem and go to the 21 if I’m travelling
Each to they’re own it’s usable

They came standard with a 135 two-stroke, though, that was barely adequate, that’s why you saw so many with the 175 upgrade. ( the 20’s)
