It will get amazing fuel burn but performance is not that great. That model 41 does not have a super charger so like my SeaSport it does not get going until the Turbo spools up. You can run them constant at about 80% of WOT. The inline 6 is a real smooth engine too. My newer D4 260's rattle pretty good at idle and cannot idle under 700 rpm. I had my 41 set to idle about 550 and it was like a sewing machine. Put your hand on it and no vibration. The 41 series is in a lot of SeaSports and Commanders over the years. From early 90's to mid 2000's. They are good engines. Easily good for 10,000 hours if properly maintained. The KAD series 42, 43 and 44 added the super charger for better pickup.the boat for sale was posted in knots though but regardless sounds like it should get pretty good fuel burn numbers. Be interesting to hear more details on this boat
175hp in a 17 footer? That’s unheard of!
Didn't Steelydan have 300hp on an 18' double eagle? Granted it was an I/O hull with a pod but still...175hp in a 17 footer? That’s unheard of!

Ok I was wrong..... 225 Hp is still a lot for that boatCan't blame a guy for thinking that'd be something you'd do.
I know a guy that had a 175hp two stroke on a 17' DE, that thing was dangerous. I'v got one with a hard top and a 115hp two stroke and I can't imagine needing more power, maybe a 135hp.175hp in a 17 footer? That’s unheard of!
I was shopping for them awhile ago. I thought most had a 200 on themThe funny thing is the 185 DE is rated max 150hp like the 17 is

Right. I was looking at them as well. And then I bought my Grady....your probably thinking the 206 model. I have owned both the 176 and 185 both with a 150hp. Perfect set up I wish I had either of those boats right now....
