If you do it properly, the stuff works remarkably well. Just don't use any chemicals around it after. Not even aerosol bug spray.Indeed! Whats TSP?
Anyone ever tried that vinyl cushion paint. Anyone ever tried to go from a pacific blue to a white. I can find lots of info on light to dark sprays but can't find any dark to light sprays.
Thanks RC, any idea whats the lifespan of that stuff? Sorry back to floors, I've seen a few vids where guys seal there corners and edges on the Eva with sika. Makes a nice little beaded seal and seems to hold up well.If you do it properly, the stuff works remarkably well. Just don't use any chemicals around it after. Not even aerosol bug spray.
I wouldn't count on it being a long term solution. Not without some touchups at least. I had two tone (bayliner blue and white) seats on my previous boat. Painted them a nice ivory white and it really classed it up for the boats new owner lol. Thanks RC, any idea whats the lifespan of that stuff? That's elastomeric paint. It's basically rubber. Great for automotive. Will not stand up to a fish boatIndeed! Whats TSP?

my experience shows it to be really strong. Sticks well to painted fiberglass floors and stands up to being wet for short periods of time. Can see no reason to believe it will not do the same to resin covered plywoodFor those of you that have installed seadek or ultra deck, do you think it’d stick ok to resin covered plywood? It’s not perfectly flat. Would I need to sand first do you think or is the adhesive really strong?
I finally pulled the trigger on this with a newer company that does custom flooring same as ultra deck except they are local on island, and use sea deck material. My inside hull was already 3D scanned, and now just waiting on it getting the process going.I wanted to do mine but I am still a bit hesitant.
It looks great and wonderful but I question when it needs to replaced how much of an absolute pain in butt it is to rip this off the day it needs replacing. My boat has just that simple textured fiberglass non skid as floor, and it gets dirty all the time so thought this would be a good solution.
i cut strips of the rubber restaurant floor matting. works great for vibe deadening in the gunnels, easy to pull out and rinse too.On related topic, i've got an aluminum boat and was curious if anyone have any suggestions for a materials to line the gunnel side pockets.
Anything in there vibrates/rattles like crazy against the hull and drives me crazy. Its going to be fussy work but would be interested if anyone knows of a peel and stick vinyl product that's not too thick.

All pieces are pre-CNC custom laser cut with whatever you want. Nice as they come, and install everything/zero screwing around. I will post when it's done.
I could have put all this cheaper flooring down, but have zero time right now. I chose the 8mm thick option/darker industrial floor.
Any luck on the finished product. Looking into this myself now.
