Today is 8 years together, bought in Seattle 2018. Figured I could celebrate with you guys as I’m not sure if my wife will be happy that it means so much to me.
They can not. I have worried about it but haven’t lost any and have ran sometimes with them tied in. I’m no physics major but it would be pretty hard to loose one unless you left a rod up there, put it on the trailer and drove under a tree near esquimalt anglers. Might have happened on my previous boat
2026 is the 20th anniversary of our 23 Hourston rebuild at Blackline - this is a family cruising and fishing boat which gets used for 10-15 day trips, mostly to Queen Charlotte Straits and the Broughtons.
For the 10th anniversary, we repowered to a D3-200 and did a cosmetic refresh - gelcoat nicks, hull polish, teak refinishing. 20 years in, and the rebuild is all solid, but its time for another cosmetic refresh and Blackline gets the nod.
