i was informed that i need to have 1,000,000 liability insurance to keep my boat at the marina last week.

who has the best coverage at a reasonable price?

any companies to avoid?

From guide perspective a lot of us are with Geoff Hope from Hub Insurance in Campbell River. He has a decent program, with good coverage and the offshore trade area coverage is excellent (75 miles). Great discounts if you are WCFGA member and also have your CTAG.

I have been very happy with hub and coast as the underwriter. Have had some big claims with them and it's been a goid experience. I had a poor experience with premiere

Got a quote from an auto plan agent through beacon. She totally screwed it up and now I'm left with a 7000 boat policy instead of the 25000 I asked for
She didn't know any of my questions about the policy, so now I'm looking to swap to hub but will have to get a survey to up my insured value. 500$ id rather not spend. :( I'm looking at another agent right now. Waiting to hear back from her

I will echo the hub brokers and beacon insurance.

One claim in 15 years is pretty good on my part. Zero issues and fully taken care of.
