The weather can pretty much be a roll of the dice at times. Quite often when they are calling for heavier winds, that is reflected on the water North-West of Estevan, and many of the areas out of Ukee & Tofu are quite workable. The South Coast is currently under a Gale Warning right now, but a quick check of LaPerouse Bank Buoy notes it is blowing a whole 3 knots (gusting 7!!) over a 1.4 meter sea. Still a damn fine idea to check before wandering out...

And, one of the many benefits of fishing from Ukee is there are a great many places to hunt in the Sound. Quite a few fish being caught in there, and a handful of decent sizes for some of the Ladz.

Will be out & about myself, say Hi if you see us!!

Good Luck & Tight Lines out there folks!! :)

Fished Friday and Saturday Mostly at Mears,
Friday was slow for Springs managed a couple small ones and got our limit on Coho.
Saturday there were definitely Springs around again, landed 5, high teens was our best lost couple of nice ones
Fished forty to sixty feet, all springs on Anchovie and the Coho are not fussy, even had a triple header.
Weather was great water was awesome had a great time.
Gave FD a wave Saturday at Cree and he gave me a blank stare I do not have my name on the side of my boat, 25' Kingfisher Brown and White with a Mercury 225SaltWater
