Personal use only… if I started selling them I am sure I would be up $hit creek.Tomic is still in business, are you breaking any law or copyright or unwritten agreement by doing an exact clone of their product?

just printing an open sourced file.Tomic is still in business, are you breaking any law or copyright or unwritten agreement by doing an exact clone of their product?
Most slicing software will allow you enter the filament cost per roll and give an estimate of cost of the print based on the parameters you've asked for. But ya I would say $0.50 would be an overly generous estimate even with some infill. My guess is it cost me under 30 cents to print. I could figure it out exactly when I get home but it’s pennies. The glow filament will cost a bit more but still Pennie’s not dollars to print.
Fired up my 3D printer with some different glow filament and started printing some tomic/J plug style plugs ! Working on different sizes (4"-8"), maybe some tubbys. These are just blanks and will get some airbrushing in our favourite patterns.
Tight lines!
Nice, what amount of infill are you using?Getting fishy now!
20% Gyroid infill with 4 perimeter lines.Nice, what amount of infill are you using?
I want that green one, but I want to put a paint job on itWater testing them tonight to see if they leak!
That would have been smart … I will just print another and compare them.Did you weigh them before and after?
True, I don’t think they will have a problem. I squished one in the vice and it took way more force than I anticipated. The pressure at depth and while trolling will be the ultimate test for leaks.
I was wondering the same thing, I've never added any metal to a print. Might be a matter of drilling and epoxy but you would want to get the metal bonded into the infill. Would want to load test them, might be more important than being water tight. This is the most interesting thing I have seen a printer used for!
What are you guys doing for line and hook attachment?
