2026 Spot Prawn Season

I have spent a long time on the DFO website looking for when the Prawn season will open on the Inside waters and the WCVI areas with no luck.

As usual every time I try to go on that site I get so frustrated that I want to scream.

I searched and found FN 0034 and FN 0020 that didn't tell me anything.

I did a search on this site and came up with about the same results.

Now I know I'm not the best on a computer but I could use a little help.

Does anyone know when the 2026 Spot Prawn season opens?

Cimmercial will open in early may as usual I would assume. No notice will come out until the ifmp is approved. Fn commercial fsc is all year. Rec is open all year except for seasonal closures in some areas.
