2025 Tuna Adventures

The cloud free is very accurate id trust it
we ran 80 miles out from cape Scott and the temp break was spot on. Fishing is OK. 15 since lines down. Looks like the break is similar down island as well.

you fishing in 63F water? any decent water on the run out any closer?

the 40 something on the first day turned out to be 52 when we emptied the boat, i need another 50 hp to plane efficiently with a catch day like that.
second run was to the same numbers and it was much slower for the fleet. we ended up with 14 and a couple that will bump our aggregate.

That’s insane! You guys must have been in slayfest to miss count 12! I remember commercial fishing and smoke when they call out the numbers on the most dangerous catch. Being near the top on the radio back when trolling was such a thrill.

Out Thursday from winter harbour. Let me know if you’re going. Will be on channel 12

We were off the Haida ridge weds , some good pockets of fish around on the surface but they seemed to only want our deeper offerings ( planers and madmacs ) . Never had more than a single which was strange. Will be out tomorrow, possibly leaving late tonight , monitoring 68 .

Roger that! Will give you a call on our way out, will be heading out towards Haida, might stop around 28nm where we saw all the jumpers the other day if water is blue and warm enough.
