2025 Tuna Adventures

First day & first time tuna fishing & we got 4. Fished out of Ukee & had to go 65 miles to find warm water. The water was **** brown until we got into it. Warmest was 60.7 degrees. We were at Nitinat canyon.

The satfish app is not updating for me? Can someone please share where the warm water is? I am hoping to go out again tomorrow

Weird. Satfish seems to be current for me. Curious about opinions for Friday-Sunday water temps.
We are heading over Thursday. Was going to Ukee but Winter Harbour seems to have harder temp breaks. Windy looks do-able.
Anyone else thinking of going this weekend?

Can you post a screen shot of your today Satfish temp and chlor shots for WH? Seems my Satfish hasn't been updated either for WH and south.

Will be out two days between 6-8th out of winter harbour.

We went out of Neah Bay on Friday 8/29. We ran down the JDF Canyon towards 47°36.000'N 125°36.000'W. Water was 65F and clear as can be. No sharp temperature breaks or chloro breaks. No jumpers, no birds diving but plenty of birds around. We started trolling 5 miles short of our mark and picked up two fish before we could get all the lines in the water. Circled that area for about 60 minutes with no more bites. Eventually wandered to our mark and north and caught 1 here and 2 there until we wound up with our desired number of 10 fish (5/person).

That took from 10:30AM until about 3PM. Fishing was not red hot by any means but it was good enough to get it done. Jigged for ling cod on the way in and picked up 4 nice ones. Overall a pretty good day.
