I started fishing albacores in 2008 off Tofino and every year is different. Some years they really stack up off the Columbia like this year and other years they invade our waters in hoards as pelagics can do.

Although this latest Satfish shot (cloud free SST)seems to indicate that you would need to be pretty far south to find them?

Will be out any calm days in that stretch. Forecast doesn’t look nice though. But long ways out. Can change.

We are 180 miles off WH fish are around so hopefully they push in closer. Picked up a few decent size ones on the way out about 40 miles off WH last night as we trolled out.
