2025 Secret Cove, Pender Harbour and Texada Reports

We only fished Egmont once, two years ago in the first half of July when there was an opening. We fished the tacks between Egmont Point and Killam Bay. I’d imagine the tides will play a big role in how active fish are and where the bait holds. Good to give a search to past threads here too. And watch for seals! We had to chase one into the shallows to get our gear back.

Oh the fishing two years ago in July was LIGHTS OUT - miss that.

Appreciate the tip and will let you know what we find.

The family and I are trying something new and staying in Egmont this year. Have always fished more towards Pender and Epsom but never in Egmont. We head up for a couple of weeks on the weekend and would love to hear if anyone has got some general areas of where to drop some lines down?
Sherrett is spot on! Photo from 2 weeks ago 75 cm. less wind as well.

What's everyone been successful using for coho's and springs in the past few days?
I'm still exclusively using 4" & 5" tomic 602 and 632 down deep (160-200ft) which has been awesome for the springs but I'm in the mood for some coho action tonight!

White hootchie always seems popular. We’ve been getting them on smaller spoons like skinny Gs with some glow and flash. Hits have been as deep as 150’.
