Unless you are referring to a recent specific incident that I don't know about, the road is fine for boats bigger than that.
Go slower than posted. The bouncy sections will bust trailer welds.
I towed my 28 to ukee this year, just pay attention and keep your distance.
Exhaust brake is your friend!
Let people pass as well, no need to stress yourself

That was much to do about nothing. A bit of erosion in a construction zone where the road had been taken down to gravel as part of the job. It's a 100 yard stretch and fine with a trailer. I've driven through it 5 times in the last couple weeks.

Depends on the group size, bed layout, which moorage, and how close you want to be.
I have a 4 bedroom house that works good for groups of fisherman (can be setup with up to 7 beds). Can park your boat trailers there too. We have smaller cabins but none that generally work well for fishing crews.
If it's a small group of 2-3 guys, a condo at "the moorage" is very nice and convenient. They are 1& 2 bed places and right by the small craft harbour. Probably around $400/ night mid June as your still in shoulder season rates.
If you like cheap and rough but functional (ish) with kitchen, The Whales Tail might work. One of my crews stay there each year. That crew booked the other day and specifically asked " what's the number for the trashy old condos with the kitchen we always stay in?". They are a fun crew.
A 2 bedroom condo at "The Ridge" works good for 4 guys if you have reasonable budget and want something nice. These are close but not walking distance to the dock. No trailer parking.
