Just got back last night from my wife's bucket list trip to Newf and Lab. Any springs still at kitty?? Anyone interested gas is 183.9 in Labrador--Jeezus we are getting Hosed by Taxes???

Saw gas is about that in Euros in Spain and Italy (50% more) so a matter of perspective.

Fished Kitty on Monday. 4 springs and 1 nice coho. Lost another couple that we never saw. All around the tide change. Plug down deep and hooch on the other 125-185ft. One was just under 20lb and the others were nice dinner fish around 68cm. Dogfish on the hump and everything caught off hump.

Out yesterday off point holmes… lots of shakers and undersized… not a lot of bait… any recent reports from kitty? Lots of trailers at Comox ramp.

Was out this afternoon at kitty, lots of undersized couple decent keepers, hooked a nice coho while trying to to get the down rigger clip on the line.
Tons of bait on the north horn of the hump.

Yup, that's my understanding as well when I review the current regs for Coho as applies to Sub-Area 14-11.

got out into 1100ft of water last weekend when the winds were calm and the tides were slack, dropped a few squid jigs down to the bottom and did the lazy jig, up and up til we got grabbed by a few nice ones. ended up with 8 in the live well by the end of the day. great calamari and pan fried
