Oak bay is a bit better.3 at 9:21 I plan on heading out earlyAnybody that plans on going to the protest tomorrow (Monday 9:00am) be aware that there's a -.3 tide at 8:35am.
Hi were you the guys jigging near Brodie?Went there after the protest on Monday,2 of us caught a dozen 6-15 lb.range in a few hours.
Should have copied you just two pin pops when I finally started to bottom bounce time to get jigging do you have a recommended type of rod? I have a selection of new jigs and Monday morning I changed the hooks to singles next time out I am definitely going to give it a tryYup.
What a shame to have to release it for no reason. I tried jigging on the flats but I am still learning but had some excitement from a tommy cod and a dog fish. It sure was a beautiful morningFished 10 mile to Constance and had a decent jig bite at Constance around 9am. Think I was 1 for 3. The 1 to the boat was better than 15lbs and hatchery. Released in the water.
Humpback whale (per experienced naturalist boat owner) cruised by in Baynes channel off 10 mile and a gray whale was hanging out on Constance until the Prince of Cetacean Molestation showed up and ran it off the bank.

Just missed you at the ramp I came in about then maybe it was you who launched on the east side of the ramp next to the not too quick fella? I waved but it didn’t click that it was you.We took a friend's 10yr old out fishing for his first time yesterday. Launched at cattle point at 10:30. Caught and released 3 Chinook, kept one nice 68cm lingcod and got 7 nice crabs. A great day on the water and the kid wants to go out again. Mission accomplished.
"Original" that's the first time I've seen a halibut with a black face, anybody else ?[/
Looks like a shadow to me ray
