Trolled from north arm to roughly 2 miles past t10 and back to north arm with the sockey gear down. Only action was one on right at high tide so I stuck it out in that area and nothing else for the rest of the day. Looks like sandheads was the better option. Nice work Steve!
 
I even showed him that post. Then I showed him the post with the link to the DFO notice of sockeye opening on the 1st. He said “well I guess you’re right” and didn’t even seem that embarrassed. Just says “Well ya learn something new everyday”.

Doesn't surprise me in the least , surprised me that he even knew the difference !
 
Use your clips for the top rods and choke a rubber band to a bite in the bottom rod's line and attach it to a swivel snap on the cable. Attach the swivel snap with the heaviest leader you have.
Now, do you have any rubber bands?
 
The gas station at Burrard marina sells clips. Out at the north arm, nothing yet. Might head to sandheads soon if nothing here.
