2015 Vancouver Boatshow

Hey FA
will catch up
going in on Wed

If anyone heading to the boat show finds a gunnel flat mount 3 pc. rocket launcher like this one , http://www.fishstrikefishing.com/rod-station-triple/ I would appreciate if you could get a contact name and number for me. The US one looks good, but $50 US shipping charge is stupid ( to say nothing of the difference in the US vs Can buck). My fall-back is to have a buddy from down south bring the items up this summer. But I would like the pair now.....................

Those would be incredibly easy to make if u can tig weld aluminum

Can you do that with a soldering iron :-) ???? That is the level of my metal work.

Hey - Owen, somehow i dont think she will find rocket launchers in Sun City!

Just send them to her hotel..... Might want to call them rod holders and not rocket launchers when it comes to dealing with the border though

lol, you have that right..

I just got a pair of 3 pipe holders from them. Awesome is the word I will use. Had them shipped to Blaine free. John is a great guy to deal with down there. Hopefully you can find someone going to one of the shows there for a pick-up.

Good to hear... Thanks Edit.. I am having a friend from Wa look for them at the Seattle boat show. All is goood!

I'll be there Thursday evening. Its good fun to laugh and be astounded at the prices on new sports fishing boats and to get any new ideas that might be out there. I suspect I'll spend a lot of time at HC looking at AIS VHF radios. ;-)

It will be interesting to see what attendence is this year.
I,m thinking its way to early , and would be best in late feb/mar
I,ve talked to a few buddy,s and i dont know anyone who is going.
Everyone saying they are more interested in other things and not boats/fishing yet.

Just saw this posted as I "follow" Jughead on Facebook.

Dave...the dude from Tuna.com on Wicked Tuna is at the show.

At the Vancouver Boat Show and Dave from Tuna.com / Wicked Tuna just stopped by to say hello. Nice guy!

Got to meet Dave, he was there promoting the show and selling tuna.com shirts. Really nice guy, stopped and chatted for 20 mins with him. Very friendly....

Ran into a few SFBC members and spent some time chatting with a few venders. It was freaken dead in there. People looked so bored.

No real sales, give aways, promos.....

Found my new motor :) It's going to look real sexy hanging off the back of the boat. Can't wait

I'm banking on finding good deals at the show and hope to pick up a new chart plotter. If the discount is minimal then I probably won't pull the trigger, but hopefully the prices start dropping by the time I get there on Sunday.

yep pretty quite
so had lots of time to chat to folks
Owen and his gang, got him going by eyeing his motor....lol
not much in the way of deal's but had already blown my budget
with a new sounder and tranny

Oh lord....talked to Derby and there are apparently a number of VCI dweebs who can't find themselves around in the "big city"......need guidance.
