Green glo flash and teaser head with chovy or herring right off the bottom is always a good producer this time of year off the cap. Flood tide and start of the ebb seem to have best results. Good luck

Thanks dmurph. I'll report tomorrow evening.

I have been fishing the west van shoreline for the past few hours. Not a bite. There must be 50 boats fishing here today and I have not yet seen a fish boated. I heard some chatter on the radio about a guy having a nice one on and getting sealed at the bellboy. I started heading that way but it was pretty rough so we turned back. Hopefully the bite will come on at some point today.

from that video doesn't look like there would be any..

I decided to delete my earlier post.... there's really no point in posting it up..... :(

I agree, keeping it out of the reports thread not a bad idea...but I think its a video worth watching none-the-less...

maybe start a new thread titled "Slaughter on The Cap"....

Not surprisingly the video is gone from Youtube. For anyone wondering.... it was a 4 minute video of landing nets and shopping carts used to slaughter about 50 coho, filmed this year on the Cap.

Back to fishing reports... sorry for the off topic stuff.

Eriks and I will be out on Saturday morning. Will post a report after. Appreciate any reports from today?

We fished the entire flood tide today along West Van shoreline and the mouth of the Cap , not a sniff. Lots of boats out and didn't see one net come out.
Sure was a nice day to be on the water. Good luck tomorrow cohochinook.

Fished Point Grey, North Shore from Pt Atkinson to the Cap. Had the gear in the water and worked it hard for at least 8 hours and not a bit. Full moon tomorrow but shouldnt change things , the fish out there are few far and between.
Heard reports from sandheads not much better.
Would like to see some pics of the ones caught and maybe a report on what they got in their guts, must be Big Macs because they arent eating at home ..... if they are here that is :(
Good Luck all !

After fishing for most of the day off the Cap, we finally had a nice fish on the line. We got it to the boat and it looked like it weighed about 20 pounds. Sadly it dove under the boat and wrapped the line around the outboard leg before snapping the line. So frustrating!

Did anyone have any success there today? I didn't see any nets coming out but another guy said he saw three fish on at about 5:45 PM.

Sirvivor, that was me on BREWSKI yelling hi to you!

I fished from 2-7 and not a sniff. Saw Salty Dawg get 1 and another boat got a small one. Pretty slow for 40+ boats.
