Your Favorite Made In Canada or USA Salmon Plugs.

Exactly. The vast majority notice my finish first however I've spent the majority of development time on action in consultation with avid anglers, guides, biologists, and my own experience. The action I've ended up with does vary from plug to plug due to a variety of factors but regardless of that has still outfished everything else for salmon of any size I've had on the other side (yes I know you could put a sabiki down and catch more of something but that's not the point). After 11 prototypes I'm happy with the performance but will always be testing and tweaking as new feedback and information comes to light. The action is to catch the fish and the overly fancy paint is to catch the fishermen, but who doesnt love a pretty plug?!

Proprietary process 😉
Do you find the brass nubbin wears the line? It seems like it might.

With retention a week away and the Tyee Pool also about to open, I thought we should be posting more plugs so here's some recent stuff!

I got a great score from a friend that gave me an amazing deal on these GRIZZLY trout plugs. In case you don't know, Grizzly is a brand that came about after the vintage Lucky Louie company sold.

I believe the Louie molds got sent to the Midwest somewhere under the brand Grizzly as you said! I spent a bit of time trying to track them down but no luck.

Things you can do to old warn plugs if you want to. I am happy with it. Great for the collection.

Anybody know if this is a Mac’s squid? It came out of a garage sale tackle box. I thought it was a Mac’s but it’s inside foil has a different eye than my other Mac’s and there’s something inside that looks like a piece of drywall?

Here is the closest that I was able to find through my reference guides.
