Keep the flybridge great for cruising docking and barking orders at your crew. You’ll love it up there
You must know me somehow lolbarking orders at your crew. You’ll love it up there
You’ll love the command bridge. View is 360 and you can easily see logs and debris. It also basically gives you another room. We can get 7 people up there. Great place to hang out in marinas too. Most have a large cooler in the corner which acts as another seat.No idea. I'm sure I'd love driving from up there on a nice hot day.
Trust me you can get to fish from up there.Would you use the flybridge? Is that he correct term? It makes it look Really tall plus you can’t get to a fish fast enough from up there
@Flyguy made his boat look 372 x better by removing his. (Plus he did a whole lot more)
The fly bridge is amazing. No way would I get rid of one on a 30 commander never. The view when cruising is amazing. Also if you have to store extra gear most 30's have a freezer on the bridge. Also you would be surprised how quick you can get to a fish from up there. The fly bridge in the summer really is the best place to be.No idea. I'm sure I'd love driving from up there on a nice hot day.

Have we ever. I think I remember you jump from the top with a full beer just to beat me to the rod! Good times.
Very cool. This thing is awesome: https://thunderbirdmarine.com/yacht-sales/29-blackfin-flybridge/ I crawled all over it when it was on the hard at LGM and listed by Freedom. I think that even though the owner dropped big dollars on the restoration it isn't worth this sort of cash however. The other issue is with small kids I would be pretty concerned about them falling off the command bridge...
I agree 100%I am as hardcore as they come about being outside in the weather while on the water.
The blackfin and others that do not have a lower steering station would make some days almost painful.
Too bad, since it takes out a bunch of boats.
I think poor Morely is going to have his hands full with meHere is one to have a look at.

Funny that’s a 1986 and mine is a 2005. Other than I have the newer Volvo’s they are pretty much identical inside and out. Here is one to have a look at.

Your right. The D4 idles at 700 rpm and you cannot change. I use a trolling sock to slow down.I think it is harder to troll with the newer volvos. I have a KAD43 in a 28' Bayliner and troll down to 2.2mph. Can't do that in the newer D4. Stock up on the plugs.
