WTB 20 ft Aluminum or possibly 18

Best fishing group in the world I call appon ya to help find our "keeper" boat. Looking for a 20ft or possibly an 18 aluminum with outboard. Will be used mostly on big lakes and a little salt time. If ya got one your thinking about getting rid of let me know I'm not in a rush. I think I have a fairly decent budget as I'd like to keep it around $40k

for that budget, you're probably getting a mid 2000's Hewescraft with an outboard with fairly high hours, or an aluminum centre console. Are you into center consoles?

One trip to ukee and you want to upgrade your boat, haha. Go up to 22 and avoid one step on the 2footitis train
Gl on the search. Everyone and their dog wants that size tinny so be patient and ready with cash when the boat pops up.

no center consoles, Old 2ft itis, I know it well from the rivers, Unfortunatly knowing well that those extra 2 feet are way out of my price range. I'm not in a rush to find what I'm looking for I'm sure something will pop up. Someone will get 2 foot itis as well.

Nothing wrong with those! Self bailing deck too. One of the smaller operations on west side of the Haida Gwaii ran similar split console Nordels and they’d be out there with us in some big water.

Looked at a 18.5 thunderjet yesterday... kinda dig'n it... might be more in my budget these days. Guy wouldn't budge on price unfortunatly but would work great for my applications. Anyone got one they're considering selling? lol

CC is just not what I'm look'n for unfortunatly. This time around will be hopefully the last bigger boat I buy.

I guess I could drive over to my storage facility and snap a few.

The boat was built in 01 I believe. Fraser Raider built by Raider boats for a fisheries management program. We refitted the boat completely for an all around river and ocean boat.

18ft x 8ft beam I believe. Might be just under on those.

115 etec 300 hrs. 25inch Transom.

High gun whales for this size. With railing.

Scott mounts and wiring

Lemar vertical windlass with custom river anchor roller setup

500 watt Led headlight under the bow

Hydraulic steering

Custom floor from 3/16 6061 aluminum. With added welded bracing. Custom nonskid paint. Not self bailing. Had a plywood deck originally. Aluminum deck is tapped into the supports with flathead 1/4 machine screws. Flushed.

Blue seas switches and power distribution

Brand new 36 gal tank under the floor. Plastic. With guage

New washdown

New bilge pump and auto switch

New batteries in console

Custom oil tank and fuel tank fills on the side of the console.

Furuno thruhull transducer on a welded piece of channel off the stern with a guard.

Sealed bulkhead in the front of the boat with stainless pipe plug drains under the floor.

Trailer was redone.

Had a custom fitted cover made for it too out of weathertek


Best I can describe it. Sweet boat. Rides really nice. Very soft ride for an aluminum boat.
