WTB- 1kW transducer (Lowrance)

Just figured Id check and see if anyone has a used 1kw airmar that they have around after upgrading before I go ahead and order one up.

well not a happy bunny with my p66 so i may be looking for an upgrade as well

or may just end up going thru hull as losing bottom as soon as i start running
looks like i have issue with trim tabs and turbulence from the main leg
as i only have a small space to allocate the trannies one p66 // simrad nss8 and a hdi skimmer // elite 7

Im in the exact same situation Wildthing. I just sold a new p66 that I had to partymarty because I have no clean water on my transom due to the trimtabs. I also have a HDI 50/200 skimmer mounted that works for crap on my elite 7 at any speed other than trolling. The plan is to keep the DSI (HDI) skimmer where it is and keep it for when I want the DSI and move the P79 to the Elite 7 and add a 1kw to my HDS7

You might consider a B60. It has the same element as the p66 but its the bronze through hull version (i might as a last resort)

I have the B60 and the results compared to the 83-200 was ten fold better. It was a good upgrade for $300 compared to $1000 for 1KW. Hardest part was drilling the hole in the hull.
