Looking for a lowrance p66 transducer to use on my new build with my gen2 touch. Let me know if anyone has one laying around that they would part with please.

Thanks, Dan.

So far Ive had 4 different occasions that Ive had a pm of various ways trying to scam me for a lowrance p66. The scammers really seem to hit the wanted adds hard on here.

What's a sonar hub?!
"Compact SonarHub™ module provides an all-in-one solution for adding best-in-class StructureScan HD and CHIRP sonar capabilities to compatible Lowrance fishfinder/chartplotter displays. A plug-and-play, all-in-one network solution makes it easier than ever to identify productive fishing areas. Transducers sold separately."

Looks like a $1000 software update lol

I should add that I have the B117, not the P66. But it's the exact same specs I think. So with that, would getting a newer chirp capable screen do anything more for me then? Or what advancement would? More power? That's what another guy smarter than me said before

Everyone has what works best for them. 1000063667.jpg

This was my old setup. Gen 2 touch, with a tm150m for chirp, and at hdi 455/800 on the main unit for 2d downscale overlaid. The black was rock. / hard returns. Solid lines flashers, lines below downrigger balls. Seemed to work well. When the fish and bait were around it let us figure out where to fish.

Also.. you can run both a p66 and a chirp unit in split screen and see which gives better returns in each situation. Fwiw I've never had a p66, just stock / hdi / side scan, 3in1 or totalscan, tm150 and now tm165. I'm sure the p66 would be better than any standard non chirp unit.. chirp is just newer better tech.

Could not tell you. I found a thru hull 165 for cheap and made a stainless steel bracket for it. I'm to much of a weenie to punch a 3 inch hole in my hull on purpose. 🤣

Also I do fab as a side hustle - so if any of the three people to ever see this thread need work done, feel free to pm. Burnaby area.

Cheers.
