I now feel less guilty about how much I'm spending on getting radar for my boat...

:D

But it will be an exciting once in a lifetime event for sure, so what the heck...have fun!

Juan I agree with you. Alot of money and a radar is money well spent. The tickets which I did by from Evenweight in a perfect smooth transaction were for my boss who is both a hockey fan and a woman fan so seemed to fit well.

Women hockey should be eliminated from the olympics until at least a dozen competitive teams participate. Nothing against the great Canadian hockey women but, c'mon, it takes away from the value of any other hard earned medal in other sports where you have to have the performance of your life at that day to beat the other full on competitors. And in women hockey if you can skate half decent you already won a medal. Ridiculous. Wasn't that why the women ski jumpers weren't allowed in the games? So why are hockey women here where every game ends with a 2 digit win?

Canada and the U.S. should play a best of 7 for the gold and silver, while all the other teams duke it out for the bronze.

... Are fishermen all liars?
Or do only liars fish?

Calmsea, I totally agree, I was feeling bad that I felt that way. A great deal of money being wasted (spent) on two, maybe three teams. I figure if they play a world championship every year and then after they have at least 6 to 8 teams who can compete then maybe bring it back in.. How does Canada get excited when they know that they are a shoe in for at least a silver. Bit of a joke.

After winning every game by a mile in 1992 and 1996, the US basketball team barely won in 2000 and came 3rd in 2004. The rest of the world caught up. The same will happen in women's hockey. It could be argued that both the Canadian and US women's made greater sacrifices in their training, were much more well prepared to play a team game, and in many cases played with a higher level of puck control and skill than the men (but at a slower pace). It's not going anywhere until there is an Olympics when nobody buys tickets to the women's games, which is unlikely since the host country will always pour money into it's own program to make them more competetive. Russia should get bronze next time.
